Reginal Craig Payne
1955-2024
Reginal Craig Payne, 69, of Hedgesville, passed away peacefully at home Sunday, April 7, 2024.
Born April 2, 1955, in Martinsburg, he is the son of Inez Catlett Payne and the late Willis Payne.
Reggie graduated from Berkeley Springs High School in 1973.
He enjoyed hunting, westerns and playing poker. All who knew him loved him and his humor.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jean Albright Payne; daughters, Stephanie Wessing, and husband, Keith and Tabitha Brining, and husband Michael Jr.; grandchildren; Dylan Payne and Austin Brining, and wife Autumn; great grandchildren, AJ and Audrey; granddogs, Jagger, Tucker and Teddy; brothers, Dennis Payne and wife Beverly, Dwight Payne, and wife Leslie, Rodney Payne and wife, Linda; sisters, Carolyn Miller and husband Danny, Penny Hensley and husband Phillip, and Jodi Robair; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Patricia Albright Chambers and husband Mark; brother-in-law, Bruce Albright, Jr., and wife Kathy.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law, Wanda Long Albright and Bruce Albright, Sr.
Family received friends Friday, April 12, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home. Services and interment are private.
