Charles B. Douglass
1937-2023
Charles B. Douglass of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on November 19, 2023 at home.
Born in Norfolk, Va., his family moved to Silver Spring, Md., a few years later.
He was a graduate of Montgomery Blair High School in 1955.
Charlie moved to Berkeley Springs, after his retirement.
Charlie worked as a printer for Giant Food for many years, in Silver Spring, Md. Later Charlie worked for IBM as a data processor in Bethesda, Md., from which he retired.
Charlie was a member of Greenwood Church, the Berkeley Springs Rotary, the Eagles Club and a regular contributor to MCEAT and other charitable organizations nationally.
Charlie is survived by his brother, Edgar Douglass of Silver Spring, Md.
A memorial service for Charlie will be held locally in the spring, to be announced in The Morgan Messenger. Funeral and burial services will be private.
