1947-2024
George Lynn Compton, 76, of Berkeley Springs, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024.
Born December 2, 1947, he was the son of the late George Joseph Compton and Lottie Compton.
Lynn owned All Star Autobody in Hagerstown, Md.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was a member of the Morgan County little league board including president for more than 30 years.
Lynn is survived by his sons and their families, Tim and Shannon Compton, Denny Compton, Jeremy and Lisa Compton; seven grandchildren, Brady, Kaelyn, Tiffany, Gavin, Cayden, Taylor and Ava; two step grandchildren, Josh and Chloe.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, D.J. Compton.
A celebration of life will be held at Morgan County Little League’s opening day, Spring 2024.
