Wilda Irene Miller

1932-2024

Wilda Irene Miller, age 91, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on January 10, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family and while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born April 1, 1932 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late William Vincent and Nellie Robinette Stotler.

She was a Christian. Wilda was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School. She was a homemaker to her family. Wilda enjoyed working on puzzles, playing cards and socializing with friends.

Wilda is survived by her children, Sherry Farris, George Miller, Jr. and Barbara Lawhorne, all of Great Cacapon, W.Va. and Thomas Miller of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., one brother, Ralph Stotler of Winchester, Va., 11 grandchildren, Candee Keddington, Nicole Mechem, Randy Miller, Chance Miller, Anthony Lawhorne, Dean Twigg, Steven Farris, Amy Breeden, Logan Miller, Vincent Lawhorne and Robert Twigg, Sr., nine great-grandchildren, Jasmine Caldwell, Alex Mechem, Daniel Miller, Robert Lee Twigg, Jr., Hunter Twigg, Elijah Fleece, Lilly Crittendon, Kayce Miller and Mason Twigg, one great-great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Caldwell and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, George William “Bill” Miller, Sr., four sisters, Pauline Good, Ruth Holliday, Ethel Miller and Phyllis Stotler and four brothers, Donald Stotler, Earl Stotler, Francis Stotler and Ray Stotler.

Services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Wilda’s memory may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
