Ernest Roger Mincher, Sr.
On Saturday, December 23, 2023, Ernest Roger Mincher Sr., passed in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family.
Ernest was a one-of-a-kind man, dubbed the “Silicone King” for his ability to make anything unmovable with enough of the substance and “Diesel Doctor” for his way with any auto-mechanics. He was the kind of man who would do anything for family and would educate anyone with his knowledge on animals and history alike.
Ernest enjoyed nature, the sport of hunting/fishing, documentaries, napping and was a lifelong Redskins fan.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Ernest and Katheryn Mincher “Hullihan”; his brothers; William (Billy) Mincher, James (Jimmy) Mincher, Kenneth (Kenny) Mincher and Ronald (Ronnie) Mincher.
He was survived by his wife, Joyce Mincher; children Ernest Mincher Jr, Sherry Faith, William Mincher, Terry Faith and Erin Mincher; his grandchildren Kristen Faith, Courtney Holt, Jakob Mincher, Terry Faith Jr, Katelyn Mincher and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother Wilford (Willy) Mincher and three sisters Edna-May (Maylee) Burnside, Terry Barker and Linda Burr.
There will be no viewing or services as requested by Ernest. Friends and family will be received later at a celebration of life.
