Betty Jane Vann Yost
1942-2023
Betty Jane Vann Yost, age 81, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at War Memorial Hospital.
Born August 21, 1942 in Hancock, Md., she was the daughter of the late Darl and Edna Lucille Spade Vann.
She was a Christian. Betty was a graduate of Hancock High School.
She was a homemaker to her children and family.
Betty enjoyed doing puzzles, yardwork and spending time with her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her children, Lisa Maria Perry and her husband, David of Berkeley Springs and Kimberly Ann Galliher and her husband, Andy of Great Cacapon, W.Va., two sisters, Darlene Murray of Greencastle, Pa., Della Schneeberg and her husband, Dave of Pasadena, Md., two sisters-in-law, Vickie Vann of Hancock, Md. and Debbie Gallion of Berkeley Springs, six grandchildren, Jennifer Carter, Amy Mechem, Brittany Studley, Sharon “Toni” Roach, Wesley Roach and Halle Galliher, eight great-grandchildren, Lucy Carter, June Carter, Jane Carter, Maria Stevens, Christopher Studley, Onaleigh Hinckle, Orion Hinckle and Athena Hazelwood and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Oscar Yost and one brother, Peter Vann.
Services and burial will be private.
