Sheree Lynn Farris, age 65, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born September 27, 1958 at War Memorial Hospital in Berkeley Springs, she was the daughter of Bobby Thomas and Rita Maxine Parlette Farris both of Berkeley Springs. She attended Hope Community Church in Berkeley Springs, where she loved attending her Sunday School Class.
Sheree attended Morgan County Schools. She attended Rumsey Training Center/The Groves Center in Martinsburg, where she was working on her 50th year of attendance. Sheree enjoyed photography, working on puzzles, watching movies, dancing, artwork and tracing pictures.
She loved going on “bacation,” celebrating holidays and her birthday. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Beverly Ann Day and her husband, Roger, Lisa Ellen Fields and her husband, Kim, Rita Renee Harris and her husband, Timothy and Mary Beth Farris, all of Berkeley Springs, her lifetime companion of 49 years, Freddie Brindle and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Alonza Thomas and Nellie Elizabeth Farlow Farris and her maternal grandparents, Elmer Franklin and Hazel Amelia Farris Parlette and one uncle, George William Parlette.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, with Pastor Dave Kidwell officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
