Joan Marie Raynor
1937-2023
Joan Marie Raynor, 86, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on November 7, 2023.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend.
Joan was born on October 6, 1937, to Joseph and Ethel Boyle in Freeport, New York.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Joan is survived by her husband, Robert W. Raynor, Sr., and their children: Patricia Anne Raynor, Amy Lynn Heldreth and Robert W. Raynor, Jr. She was also a cherished sister to Jacqueline Capozzoli and Gary Boyle. Joan was a proud grandmother to Thomas and Kevin Branyan, Celia and Caroline Causey, and Bryan and Kyle Raynor.
In her career, Joan worked for the New York State Environmental Protection Agency.
In her retirement she was a member of the Delectable Mountains Quilt Guild and a passionate advocate for pets and animals.
A private ceremony will be held in memory of Joan Raynor.
