Marjorie Kidd Dropp

Marjorie Kidd Dropp, 79, of Berkeley Springs passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Cambridge, Mass., to the late Robert Kidd and Marjorie Anne “Gilbert” Kidd. Marjorie grew up in Naples, New York’s Finger Lakes Region.

She graduated from Michigan State University with her bachelor’s degree.

She taught middle school for several years, and was a tutor in Virginia’s GED program, and home schooled her youngest daughter.

She spent her last 40 years as an animal counselor and trainer, especially dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Captain Joseph Dropp, ret., and family in Maryland, West Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia and New Mexico.

There will be no memorial service. Take a friend out and enjoy a moment. Friends and acquaintances may email notes of remembrance/stories which will be placed in her “Life Album” to margiedropp1944@gmail.com.
