Repaving the U.S. 522 roadway got underway on Sunday, June 12 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. that runs north of town around the Moose and
Pavement milling work could be seen last week, preparing the roadway before the blacktop is applied.
Town of Bath Mayor Scott Merki said in the June 7 council meeting that the repaving will go up to the sidewalks on U.S. 522 and people need to park on the side streets.
The WV DOH road sign on U.S. 522 said the roadwork will continue through July 8.
