The Maryland man who robbed the City National Bank in Berkeley Springs in June of 2019 has been sentenced to nearly four years in jail for the crime.
According to press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of West Virginia, Steven L. Silverman, 50, of Thurmont, Md., was sentenced on Monday, March 16 to 46 months incarceration for bank robbery, U.S. Attorney Bill Powell announced.
