Just how hot & rainy was July?

Average temperatures for the month of July have varied slightly over the last 10 years in our area, ranging from 74 degrees to 79 degrees. There has been a slight warming trend over the last 10 to 20 years, said National Weather Service meteorologist Jeremy Geiger from the Baltimore-Washington D.C. Weather Forecast Office.

This July was the hottest since 2011, on average, with the month’s average temperature at 79 degrees.
