Bells ringing, high school assembly, church meal, and other events set for Veterans Day

At the eleventh hour, on the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918, the armistice to end World War I was signed. Since the end of the war, that day has been recognized as a day to remember United States Military veterans.

Starting at 11 a.m., Hancock Middle-Senior High School will hold their annual Veterans Day ceremony in the school’s auditorium.
