Construction of a traffic signal at the intersection of U.S. 522 and Cavendish Drive, which leads to the DMV and Rutter’s, could impact traffic flow on Valley Road.

The West Virginia Division of Highways said the signal construction began on June 8.

“There will be periodic lane closures and possible traffic delays during this time. Motorists should travel with caution through the area and allow extra time. Exact schedule is weather dependent,” said the DOH.
