Stanley Eugene Shoemaker, Jr., age 68, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 at WeCare at Rolling Meadows in Waynesburg, Pa.

Born January 30, 1958 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., he was the son of the late Stanley Eugene Shoemaker, Sr. and the late Catherine Ann Waugh Shoemaker.

He was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and worked in sales with Eddie’s Tire Service.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Brenda Lee Albanese Shoemaker, at home, three children, Joseph W. Shoemaker (Mandi) of Keyser, W.Va., Erin R. Miller (Danny) and Kelly L. Wertman (George), all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., seven grandchildren, Ethan Wolinski, Khia Wolinski, D.J. Williams, Nikki Williams, Frankie Williams, Jacob Shoemaker and Eli Shoemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time. Pastor Rodney Truax will officiate. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery.
