Citing added costs and a multi-step process for food establishments and organizations, the Morgan County Commission declined the recommendation of the joint Berkeley-Morgan County Health Department to reinstitute a food handler’s card policy.
Morgan and Berkeley Counties are the only two counties in West Virginia not to have a food handler card requirement for people working in food service establishments.
