Morgan County emergency officials have received a $170,323 grant for first responder radios for the county from the Department of Homeland Security. County Commissioners approved receipt of the funding.
County Commissioners said the county’s 911 Director Marshall Younker “has a plan” to replace old radios, reprogram some older Motorola radios and use those to replace some existing Kenwood radios being used by first responders in the county.
