The Morgan County Emergency Communications Center has selected Marcie Householder as Emergency Telecommunicator (ETC) of the Quarter for October–December 2025.

“With an impressive 22 years of dedicated service to Morgan County 911, Marcie has remained a steady and positive presence in the communications center while adapting to the many changes that have shaped the profession over the years. Known for always being on time and dependable, Marcie consistently demonstrates a willingness to step in and work when she is able and is always ready to help others when needed,” said 911 Assistant Director Sarah Henry. “Throughout her career, she has shown substantial professional growth and continues to seek opportunities to learn something new each shift. Beyond her strong work ethic, Marcie is widely appreciated by her coworkers for her positive attitude and ability to make the day ‘merry and bright,’ making her a joy to work alongside. Her commitment to improvement, teamwork, and service to the community makes her truly deserving of this recognition.”
