On Friday, March 20, from 6-8 p.m., the Warm Springs Watershed Association (WSWA) will host a second Green Drinks program at Creekside Creamery and Provisions, located at 123 Congress Street in Berkeley Springs.
Photos by Warm Springs Watershed Assoc. board member Stan Oaks are included in the art show entitled “Healing Waters,” curated by Mandi Solo.
The work of local artists Elizabeth Kump, Ayla Heefner and students from Berkeley Springs High School are also on display. Solo and Kathy Yost will share memories of the power of water as experienced in their childhoods. Members of the public are also invited to share memories of time spent as a youth in our local waters.
The International Green Drinks program is a loose global network of local, informal networking meetups for people interested in the environment and sustainability, typically held in bars, cafes, or other social spaces. While “green drinks” are rarely served at these occasions, in this case a Vernal Green drink will be served.
The Green Drinks event is open to everyone; there is no charge.
