Samantha Reinold

1940-2026

Samantha Reinold passed peacefully February 21, 2026 in Spring Arbor Senior Living in Winchester, Va.

She had been a Berkeley Springs resident for more than 40 years where she was an avid antique collector and entrépreneur, bridge club and bingo enthusiast.

For thirty years, she worked at the International Union of Operating Engineers, where she retired as the Executive Office Manager for the Union President. She organized and traveled to international conferences the world over and was legendary for “getting it done.” She was a popular motivational speaker.

Born and raised in New Orleans, she is remembered as always one with enviable style and joy of life. She loved to dance.

As a young woman, she was a member of the Glee Club, Tri-Hi-Y, Junior Achievement, Gym class captain, Color captain, Follies, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), Student Council, and a fashion model for business attire.

She is survived by her son, Todd Miranne (wife Laura), in Biloxi, Miss. and brother, Raymond Roux, in Hammond, La.

A woman of deep faith, she often spoke of praying and just taking God’s hand. Surrounded by loving friends and community, she took His hand once more, and He led her home. She is missed.

As requested, service and burial are private.
