Dale E. Beahn

1928-2025

Dale E. Beahn, 97, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Martinsburg VA Medical Center.

Born February 17, 1928, in Akron, Ohio, he was the son of the late Forrest Leroy “Roy” Beahn and Josephine Carson (Jacobs) Beahn.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helen A. (Bohrer) Beahn in July 2025.

Dale was a merchant seaman for 6 years. He was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War. At the completion of his draft, he was employed as a conductor for Western Maryland Railroad for 25 years. After retiring from the railroad, he opened his own business, where he sold and serviced major appliances from 1973-1990.

Dale was a member of Timber Ridge Pentecostal Church in Va, where he played the guitar and sang with his wife. He was a devoted, active member and had a close circle of friends.

Dale is survived by his two daughters, Barbara Bierly (Steve) of Hagerstown, Md. and Carol Rohrer (Cabot) of Woodstock, Ga.; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Dale was preceded in death by a daughter, Myla Beahn; and a son, Clayton Beahn.

There will be no viewing or visitation. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
