Viola May Stevens
1936-2025
Viola May Stevens, Age 89, of Littlestown, Pa., entered God’s eternal care on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at home with her loving family by her side under the care of Hospice.
Born June 19, 1936, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late John D. and Lottie M. (Wolfe) Bohrer.
Viola was the loving wife of the late Robert Paul Harden, and the late Lawrence Ray Stevens.
Viola was a seamstress for over 30 years at London Fog in Hancock, Md., after retirement she worked for over 10 years at McDonald’s part-time in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Viola attended Flint Hill United Methodist Church, Adamstown, Md. Viola was a member of the Blue Grass Association.
She loved gardening, sewing, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and especially spending time with her family going on trips or just sitting on the porch of her home place taking in the sun. She enjoyed the bus trips with friends.
Viola is survived by her daughter, Tresa A. Bradshaw –Spouse Jeffery of Littlestown, Pa.; two grandchildren, Patricia N. Hollenbaugh- Spouse Jeremy and Ryan K. Goodman – Spouse Heather; three great-grandchildren, Remington, Colton, and Kimber Goodman; and a brother, David Bohrer of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Roach; and a brother, Vernon Bohrer.
Visitation and times to share memories with the family will be held from 7-9 p.m., Thursday, October 30, 2025, at the Kenworthy Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 66 East Hanover Street, Gettysburg (Bonneauville), Pa. A second visitation will be on Monday, November 3, 2025 from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home, 95 Union St, Berkeley Springs W.Va. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 11 a.m at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, with a visitation one hour prior. Pastor Rod Fry officiating. Burial will be in Greenway Cemetery immediately following service.
