Clifford L. Moore
1948-2025
Clifford L. Moore, 77, of Martinsburg passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at his residence.
Born May 2, 1948 in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Sampson and Zenzia Bageant Moore.
Cliff was retired from Essroc having worked for Martin Marietta and Capitol Cement. He was an avid hunter; and a member of Berkeley Place United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Barabara Feltner Moore; daughters, Michelle “Shelly” Schoppert (Jeff), Wendie Miller (Jamey), Candace “Candy” Dalton Pevarnik (Darren); grandchildren who affectionally called him “Pap Pap”, Aaron Meislin (Joel), Jacob Riner (Airaka), Cameron Dalton, Emily Dalton (Chris Potter), Ryan Miller (Shawnté); and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Whitacre; two brothers, Delmar Moore and Sam Moore, Jr.; and two sisters, Ruth Marie Crouse and Lucille DeHaven.
Graveside service was held on Saturday, September 27, at 11 a.m., at Pleasant View Memory Gardens with Pastor Lisa Franzen officiating.
