Janesta Josephine Clingerman
1930-2025
Janesta Josephine Clingerman, age 94 of Hagerstown, Md. and formerly of Great Cacapon, W.Va. passed away on July 29, 2025 under the care of Hospice.
Born December 24, 1930 in Plum Run, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Bruce Keefer and the late Leona Miller Keefer.
She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Great Cacapon and worked as a seamstress at London Fog in Hancock, Md. until it ceased business.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, and baking. She volunteered at Mt Nebo Church, Great Cacapon Fire Department festival, Great Cacapon PTA and numerous other organizations.
Janesta is survived by two daughters, Loretta (Herb) Swain of Hagerstown, Md. and Kim (Walker) Sharp of White Lake, Mich., one daughter-in-law Phyllis Clingerman of Great Cacapon, 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, one sister Actress Goller of Winchester, Va., numerous nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years Blaine Clingerman, Sr and two sons (William Kenneth and Blaine Carlton, Jr), one brother, Floyd Keefer, and three sisters, Regina Garvey, Kay Douglas and Dolores Zimmerman.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 4 p.m. on September 9, 2025 at the American Legion Post #60, 527 N. Washington Street, Berkeley Springs W.Va. with Pastor Kenny Mason officiating. Burial will be private.
