Local photographers submitted a colorful array of photos showing life and the seasons of Morgan County in this year’s 2025 Morgan County Photo Contest. Judging of the entries was delayed several times, but we are pleased to finally announce the winning photos and invite readers to choose the final winner through an online People’s Choice poll.
Winning photographers will receive a free year’s subscription to the print and/or digital edition of The Morgan Messenger and our annual Photo Calendar, made up of photo contest submissions.

Additional photos that were submitted to the 2025 Morgan County Photo Contest will be posted on The Morgan Messenger Facebook page so that our readers and page followers can choose THEIR winner — the People’s Choice First Place photo.
Visit “MorganMessengerWV” on Facebook and “like” the photos you think should be final contenders for the best photo showing life in Morgan County. You can vote for multiple photos if you like.
The photos will be posted from August 27 through September 5. Your People’s Choice winning photo will be printed in the following edition.
