The 2025 Berkeley Springs Indians football team enters the fall with a promising mix of seasoned skill players, a developing offensive line, and a defense ready to take another step forward. With depth across key positions and new talent emerging, expectations are high as the Indians aim to make noise this season.

On offense, the Indians will rely on the veteran presence of tight end Adam Rippeon and split end Kyle Moore to anchor the passing game. Halfback Jake Aulabaugh, a versatile weapon, brings experience as both a rusher and receiver. The ground attack will be bolstered by the one-two punch of tailbacks Jackson Ambrose and Damien Clark, giving the offense balance and versatility.

Up front, the offensive line will be a blend of experience and fresh talent. Cooper McDoniel and Brian Ailor return to provide leadership and consistency, while Chris Welker, Matt Wolfe and David Dillon step in as promising newcomers. At quarterback, Jalen Miller leads the offense but is being pushed by Saul Williams, adding healthy competition to the position.

Defensively, Berkeley Springs is looking for continued improvement in 2025. Wolfe and Rippeon will man the edges at defensive end, while McDoniel and Ailor bring size and strength to the interior. At inside linebacker, a deep rotation featuring Ambrose, Dillon, Clark, and Henry Brown provides physicality and flexibility.

The secondary brings valuable experience and athleticism, with Moore, Aulabaugh and Parker Marcy anchoring the back end. Young sophomores Kowen Proctor and Steven Schmidt are gaining valuable reps at outside safety, giving the defense depth and a glimpse of the future.

Special teams will feature a fresh face, as newcomer Jacob Morgan takes over the kicking duties, adding a dynamic element to the Indians’ special teams unit.

With a roster blending veteran leadership and young talent, the Indians are focused on building consistency and competing every week. Fans can expect a tough, disciplined squad as Berkeley Springs takes the field this fall, hungry to make the 2025 season one to remember.

The Indians will officially kick off their regular season on Friday, August 29, when they travel to Petersburg. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
