Beatrice “Betty” Kreinik
1934-2025
Beatrice “Betty” Kreinik, 90, of Hedgesville, W.Va., passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at her home.
Born November 30, 1934 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to the late Ernest Beshi and Josephine Marchese Beshi.
She was an activist for human rights and animal rights. A first generation American, Betty was a proud daughter of immigrants and an Army wife for 22 years.
Betty is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herbert Kreinik; daughters, Leslie (Joseph) Frye and Thea Kreinik; son, Jonathan Kreinik; sisters, Terry Berl and Jo Ann Orellana; and her faithful beagle, Buddy.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her sisters, Eleanor Mines and June Lazzarotti.
Services will be private.
