Helen Alma Beahn
1931-2025
Helen Alma (Bohrer) Beahn, 93, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., passed away Saturday July 19, 2025, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, Md.
Born December 31, 1931, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Raymond Bohrer and Gertrude Susan (Bohrer) Bohrer.
Helen was a homemaker and attended Timber Ridge Full Gospel Church in Virginia, where she sang with her husband.
She enjoyed crafting and sewing. Helen crocheted each one of her grandchildren’s first baby blankets as they arrived. She enjoyed gardening and canning as well.
Helen is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Dale E. Beahn, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two daughters, Barbara Bierly (Steve) of Hagerstown, Md. and Carol Rohrer (Cabot) of Woodstock, Ga.; 1 sister, Henrietta Aulabaugh; 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a daughter, Myla Beahn, and a son, Clayton Beahn, and 1 Sister and 2 Brothers.
There will be no viewing or visitation. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to Doey’s House, c/o Hospice of Washington County, 1710 Underpass Way, Suite 300, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
