Steel placement and other construction progress has been visible at the site of the new Rutter’s gas station and store along U.S. 522 south of Berkeley Springs.
Company spokeswoman Emily Russo Miller said last week that the store is 60 to 65% complete and is set to be finished near the end of September, with plans in place for an early October opening.
The store will be almost 14,000 square feet, with a full menu of made-to-order food, said Miller.
