Colin J. Williams

1961-2025

Colin J Williams (1961-2025) has gone to dwell in the eternal presence of God. A devoted husband and man of peace and faith. He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Yvonne Salcedo Williams and her loving family.

Colin is proceeded in death by his mother Lydia H. Walker and father Kenneth Lane Williams.

Surviving him are his siblings Brice Williams, Nathan Savasten, Jonathan Williams, Margaret Griffiths nee Williams, Amy (Williams), de Paul and Rachel Kulisek nee Williams. As well as an abundance of nieces and nephews.

Born December 15, 1961 in Lake Como, Pa., Colin passed peacefully at his home in Berkeley Springs June 14, 2025 at the age of 63.

He graduated from Berkeley Springs High School and attended West Virginia University where he studied theater and was frequently seen on a unicycle or juggling. He brought light and merriment to every room he entered, and left laughter that long echoed.

Throughout his life, Colin sought the face of God in all that he did. He lived out his faith and believed to nurture community and relationships was to walk alongside divinity.

Having lived in many places, Colin returned to Berkeley Springs to be closer to family. Here he was a caretaker and steward of the land, tending to his home at Lions Oak, often accompanied by his faithful Labrador companion Maximus.

In the wild and wonderful wilderness of the West Virginia Mountains, Colin found closeness to God. Those that had the honor of loving and knowing Colin know this is but a slice of who he was and all he offered the world. His presence is greatly felt, but his impact will continue to resonate.

There will be a private interment and the family asks for privacy. A celebration of life will be held this fall.
