West Virginia 988 and Behavioral Health will be hosting regional meetings around the state to share information about state and local resources to support health and wellbeing.
“We want to also hear from you about what is working and what is needed in your community. Your voice matters, and together we can build a more connected, informed, and effective behavioral health system in West Virginia,” said event organizers.
In this area, a meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Berkeley County DoHS Office at 433 Mid Atlantic Pkwy, Martinsburg. This meeting will be for the counties of Berkeley, Grant, Hampshire, Hardy, Jefferson, Mineral, Morgan and Pendleton.
The meeting’s purpose is to:
–Explain and promote 988 and crisis services
–Share behavioral health resources
–Strengthen regional and local partnerships
–Identify gaps and opportunities in service delivery
Who Should Attend:
Members of the public; community, faith-based, and government leaders and organizations; healthcare providers; educators; law enforcement; and anyone invested in the wellbeing of their community.
