Sleepy Creek Watershed & state groups to host free rain barrel workshop

The Sleepy Creek Watershed in association with the Eastern Panhandle Conservation District and West Virginia Environment Protect Agency will host a Rain Barrel Workshop on Thursday, May 22, at the First United Methodist Church campus at 440 Fearnow Road in Berkeley Springs. The workshop will run from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Interested Morgan County residents are invited to register and attend.  Speakers will provide hands-on instruction on how to properly install and maintain rain barrels to capture and reuse rain water from roof gutter downspouts.

The first 15 Sleepy Creek Watershed residents to register will receive a free kit.  Rain barrels and downspout connections will be available for sale for other attendees.
