Lines of rally attendees held signs along Valley Road in front of the Morgan County Courthouse on Saturday, April 19 as part of a second “Hands Off” public rally event held nationwide to push back against historic cuts to government programs by the current administration. Signs called for preserving Veterans Administration services, Social Security, Medicaid coverage, school lunches and for upholding due process rights and democratic ideals. Towns and cities across the United States saw gatherings on April 19 that included more than three million people.
