A Morgan County Grand Jury indicted 21 individuals on criminal charges when they met for the spring term in Morgan County Circuit Court on Tuesday, April 1.
Among those indicted is a Morgan County teacher accused of the felony of battery of a disabled child. Other individuals are accused of burglary, drug trafficking, grand larceny, DUI, fraud and child abuse.
Jazmyn F. Rohrer of Shepherdstown is accused of battery of a disabled child during her school duties as a teacher at Widmyer Elementary in Berkeley Springs. Rohrer was charged with the crime after staff at the school observed and reviewed video allegedly showing Rohrer lean on a disabled student’s hands and arms on her desk until the child was in pain and showed physical signs of restricted blood flow. The incident occurred in December of 2024 at the school.
John E. Arrington Jr. of the Eastern Regional Jail was indicted for driving while his license was revoked for DUI, third offense, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana. The incident happened in March of this year. Arrington was previously convicted of driving revoked for DUI in March 2019 in Morgan County and in August 2019 in Berkeley County.
Trenton G. Cutlip of the Eastern Regional Jail was indicted for burglary, strangulation and domestic battery, all on Valentine’s Day of this year. Cutlip is accused of breaking into the home of an individual in order to commit the crime of domestic battery. He is also accused of grabbing a victim by the throat and placing the person in a chokehold, causing the victim bodily injury. Cutlip is accused of domestic battery in the incident.
Malachi I. Dalton of Baltimore was indicted for transportation of a controlled substance into the state and possession of cocaine with the intent to deliver the drug in Morgan County in November of 2024.
Cameron A. Decormier of Bunker Hill, W.Va. was indicted for wanton endangerment and domestic assault, all stemming from incident in August of 2024 where he is accused of pointing a firearm at a member of his household.
Shawn M. Fiske of Berkeley Springs was indicted for burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of crack cocaine. Fiske is accused of committing the crimes in September of 2024, removing an air conditioning unit in order to get into a residence to commit petit larceny and use illegal substances.
Christopher F. McBee was indicted for burglary and conspiring with Fiske to commit the crimes.
James M. Flint of Paw Paw was indicted for burglary, petit larceny and destruction of property. He is accused of breaking into Paw Paw High School on February 15, 2025, and stealing a large quantity of food and a pair of cowboy boots. Flint also allegedly damaged a window, cabinet and door at the school during the incident.
Dalton L. Ginevan of Paw Paw was indicted for burglary, grand larceny and possession of stolen property. Ginevan is accused of breaking into a shed of a local man and stealing a Kawasaki dirt bike valued at more than $1,000 in February of this year.
Michael R. Herndon of Paw Paw was indicted for fleeing from law enforcement with reckless disregard for public safety, passing in a no-passing zone and speeding (95 in a 55 zone). Herndon is accused of committing the crimes in April of 2024.
Aiden L. Holle of Berkeley Springs was indicted for child abuse causing serious bodily injury. He is accused of shaking an infant child on New Year’s Eve of this year, resulting in head trauma for the infant.
Jasson R. Howard, Andrea Mathai and Sara Woods were indicted for delivery of suboxone and conspiracy tied to a scheme among the three to deliver suboxone to Woods, who transported the drug to Howard in the Eastern Regional Jail. They are accused of committing the crimes in April of 2024.
Perez E. James of Glen Burnie, Md. was indicted for fleeing from law enforcement with reckless disregard for the safety of others and battery on an officer. James is accused of fleeing from officers in June of 2023 and of shoving West Virginia State Police Trooper Meyers during the incident.
Tabatha N. Lewis of Paw Paw was indicted for delivery of suboxone, delivery of heroin, delivery of fentanyl, delivery of methamphetamine and DUI. She is accused of delivering the drugs to an undercover investigator in April of 2024 and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Thomas L. Murphy of the Eastern Regional Jail was indicted on three counts of burglary (non-dwelling), two counts of petit larceny and burglary. He is accused of entering the barn of a local man to steal items between June and September of 2024 and again between October and December of 2024. Murphy is also accused of breaking into a local home and stealing items valued at less than $1,000 in November of 2024.
Dylan A. Payne of the Eastern Regional Jail was indicted for possession with the intent to deliver fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, xylazine and heroin (five separate counts). He is accused of committing the crimes in Morgan County in November of 2024.
Justin S. Peer of Berkeley Springs was indicted for DUI third offense, possession of crack cocaine and driving suspended. Peer is accused of the driving under the influence of a controlled substance in December of 2024. Prior convictions for DUI were in January 2018 in Morgan County and in November of 2020 in Morgan County. Peer is accused of possessing crack cocaine in December of 2024 and driving that same month while his license was suspended.
Todderick E. Roberson of Stafford, Va. was indicted for obtaining property with a worthless check and fraudulent schemes. He is accused of passing a worthless check of $5,300 at Ridersville Cycle for two Honda generators in December of 2023.
Timothy A. Thompson of Winchester, Va. was indicted for DUI third offense. Thompson is accused of driving while under the influence of a controlled substance in February of this year. He was previously convicted of DUI in February of 2023 in Morgan County and in January 2021 in Frederick County, Va.
