1944-2025
Tony Russell Kesler, 80, of Paw Paw, W.Va. passed away Friday, March 14, 2025, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va.
He was born June 19, 1944 in Cumberland, Md. and was the son of the late Bernard Leo Kesler, Sr. and Alma Mae (Fresh) Kesler.
He was a 1962 graduate of Paw Paw High School and a Veteran, having served in the Marines.
He was a carpenter, owned TK Construction, and was Methodist by faith.
Surviving are his wife -Verlie Jean (Brown) Kesler, his daughter – Michelle Lee Kesler (Trenton) of Hagerstown, Md., three sisters – Linda Kesler Kerns of Paw Paw, Susan Kesler Goldizen (Rick) of Stephens City, Va. and Kathie Kesler Corbett (Mitch) of Paw Paw, a very special nephew – Justin Corbett (Karrah), four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, four stepchildren – James Brown (Oma); Tony Brown (Jessica); Byron Brown (Patricia); Angela Fulton (Joshua), nine step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter – Kelley Ann Kesler Ballerstadt (December 4, 1965-March 22, 2022).
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-12 noon on Wednesday, March 19 at the Kimble Funeral Home in Paw Paw where a funeral service will follow at 12 noon. Interment will be at Woodrow Cemetery.
