Contractors have been laying a brick walkway near the Gentlemen’s Springs in Berkeley Springs State Park as part of park upgrade projects. A park official estimated the work on this walkway would be complete around the end of the month or beginning of April.

Visitors to the old Roman bathhouse can still enter its normal door by walking through the pump area of the spring. A temporary bridge has been built over the run channel to give people access to the water pumps as well. Bricks being used in the park come from a stock of historic bricks that were taken up from Fairfax Street several years back during a street redesign.
