Bath hires Reiff as new police officer

The Town of Bath hired a new police officer that was sworn in by Mayor Scott Merki on Friday, February 21.

Newly hired police officer Hunter Reiff (center) joined the Town of Bath Police Department as a full time employee and begins his service on March 4.

Hunter Reiff will begin working a full-time schedule on March 4 for the police department, said Sandra Venuto, Police Administrative Specialist.

Reiff is an uncertified officer and will be attending the West Virginia Police Academy in the spring, Bath Councilman Greg Schene said.

Reiff’s family attended the ceremony along with friends and the Town of Bath staff.
