Chamber to host Career Fair again at BSHS in March

The Morgan County Career 2025 is right around the corner, and now is the time to register for a free table.  The Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce will team up again with Berkeley Springs High School to bring local businesses and students together for their Second Annual Career Fair on March 13.

“As anyone with a business in Morgan County knows, good help is hard to find,” said Executive Director Happy Rone. “With the Career Fair, we’re hoping to show high school students the many career paths available to them and help them become the next generation of great employees.  It’s an opportunity to inspire the workforce of tomorrow.”

While businesses are welcome to bring applications for current job openings, the event is also designed to help students explore future career opportunities.

“We encourage businesses to bring literature about the training or education needed for their industries, as well as hands-on items that can get students excited about potential careers,” Rone added.

The Career Fair will also be open to the general public from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m., welcoming job seekers, virtual students, and homeschool students who want to learn more about career opportunities in Morgan County.

Sponsored by CNB Bank, Inc, the Morgan County Economic Development Authority, and Edward Jones, with lunches provided for the businesses by Blue Ridge Community & Technical College, the job fair at Berkeley Springs High School is free to any business who would like to sign up to attend.

Businesses should register for their free booth by Monday, February 24 at berkeleyspringschamber.com.
