American Red Cross to hold three-day community event in Berkeley Springs

The American Red Cross of the Greater Shenandoah Valley Chapter in service to Morgan County will host a free three-day event in Berkeley Springs to build a community connection, give away free smoke detectors and seek to recruit volunteers interested in working with the American Red Cross in disaster relief.

The event will be held on Tuesday, January 21 through Thursday, January 23 at  Berkeley Baptist Church located at 172 Winchester Grade Road. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. all three days.

All three days from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Red Cross personnel will be giving away free smoke alarms to registered attendees and offering information about installation of the alarms.
