Sherry Lynn Cain
1956-2024
Sherry Lynn Cain, age 68, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center.
Born June 25, 1956 in Baltimore, Md., she was the daughter of the late Lester Cletus and Marvalene Marie Michael Cain.
She attended Hope Community Church in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
Sherry was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School and earned her Master’s Degree from NOVA University. She worked as an executive director for The Opportunity Center.
Sherry enjoyed watching television, reading, crocheting and loved traveling the world.
Sherry is survived by her sister, Brenda M. Ruddell and her husband, Dennis of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and Tracy S. Cain and his wife, Joy of Hedgesville, W.Va. and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Karen Lea Cain.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., where the family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
