Free Economic Outlook luncheon set for Dec. 10

The Berkeley Springs-Morgan County Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with CNB Bank, Inc., the Morgan County Economic Development Authority, and Coolfont Resort, will host a special lunch and presentation featuring John Deskins, Ph.D., Director of West Virginia University’s Bureau of Business and Economic Research.

The event will provide insights into the economic outlook for the State of West Virginia for 2025 and beyond.

The event is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 10, at noon at Coolfont Resort in Berkeley Springs.

Dr. Deskins, a highly regarded economist, travels the state annually to share regional economic updates, analyze growth trends, and highlight challenges and opportunities. His presentation will focus on the economic performance of West Virginia, including the Eastern Panhandle, and will provide valuable information about the region’s driving forces for growth and future economic prospects.
