Berkeley Springs woman charged with domestic battery

En route to War Memorial Hospital, a man called 911 on Saturday, November 30 to report a domestic assault that had occurred at a residence on Oak Hill Road.

At the hospital, police observed minor bleeding injuries on the victim’s left forehead and hand.

The victim stated that the perpetrator, who has a history of mental illness, awoke from a nap, and head-butted him while he was seated at the kitchen table, according to a criminal complaint filed in Morgan County Magistrate Court by West Virginia State Police Trooper D.E. Styles.

Jennifer L. Walsh, 49, was arrested and charged with domestic battery.

Walsh has a history of battery, and protection violation charges, according to the criminal complaint.

She remains incarcerated at Eastern Regional Jail awaiting a hearing.
