1976-2024

Alicia Renee “Lish” Roussey, age 47, of Great Cacapon, W.Va., died on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center.

Born November 30, 1976 in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of Curt Alvin and Carol Ann Singleton Zimmerman.

She attended Hancock Assembly of God Church.

Alicia was a graduate of South Carolina public school and went to nursing school. Lish worked as an ER nurse and worked in different nursing facilities.

She enjoyed her flower and fairy gardens and spending time with her grandson and family. Alicia loved helping to take care of others.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Anthony Vincent Roussey, at home, four children, Dakota Carlile of Pittsburgh, Pa., Tyler Roussey of Warfordsburg, Pa., Jacob Roussey and his partner, Jess of Great Cacapon, W.Va. and Joshua Roussey of Everett, Pa., one sister, Mounda Selby of Mercersburg, Pa., three brothers, Michael Zimmerman of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Adam Zimmerman and his wife, Heather of Clear Spring, Md. and Aaron Zimmerman and his fiancé, Connie of Hancock, Md., one grandson, Jamie Roussey and several nieces and nephews.

Alicia was preceded in death by one sister, Elizabeth Zimmerman.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at noon on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Hancock Assembly of God Church, 431 Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock, Md., where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until service time. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Alicia’s name may be made to Hancock Assembly of God Women’s Ministry, 431 Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock, MD 21750.
