Sandra Greer Hevener

Sandra Greer Hevener, age 74, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at the Berkeley Springs Healthcare Center.
Born February 18, 1950 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Roswell Lanier “Rozzie” and Ardath Meridean “Peggy” Unger Hevener.
She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
Sandy was a graduate of Berkeley Springs High School.
She worked as a postmaster until her retirement with the United States Postal Service Berkeley Springs Office.
Sandy is survived by her three nephews, Raymond Earle Hevener, Jr., Steven Hevener and Michael Hevener.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Earle Hevener.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Helsley-Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 95 Union Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Pastor Chuck Bergen will officiate. Private burial will be in Greenway Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
