Mary Lyle Perry

1932-2024

Mary Lyle Perry, age 92, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. passed away on Friday, November 1, 2024 at her home.

Born June 30, 1932 in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Frank Lee Bishop and Edna Virginia Cain Bishop Hensley.

She attended public schools in Hancock, Md.

She worked for London Fog in Hancock, Md. for 32 years and worked at Subway until retirement. She attended Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one son, Gerald Lee Perry, Sr., at home, two daughters, Linda Sue Penwell and husband Richard of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Kimberly Kay Barnhart and husband Kenneth of Saint Thomas, Pa., six grandchildren, Leslie Jay and companion Don, Gerald Lee Perry, Jr. and companion Amy, Jessica Perry and companion Robert, Ashley Morris and husband Steve, Bradley Barnhart and wife Beverly, Dylan Barnhart, seven great grandchildren, Hunter Jay, Jenna Perry, Cheyenne (Hiles) Ganoe, Remington Hiles, Whitney (Hiles) Morris, Lacie Morris, Stevie Morris and one great great grandson, Whelen Ganoe, one sister Catherine Dawson of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Perry and her first husband James F. Stotler, one grandson Charles Victor Perry, two sisters Madeline Perry and Barbara Peck and one brother Frank L. Bishop, Sr.

She loved spending time with her family, her flower gardens, and working puzzles.

A private graveside service for the family will be held later.
