Lonnie Eugene Brown
1985-2024
Lonnie Eugene Brown, born April 1, 1985, passed away on October 27, 2024 after slipping into a diabetic coma from which he could not recover.
His on-going battle with a multitude of medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with smiles and laughter.
He had a larger-than-life personality. He was loud, loved wrestling and enjoyed playing video games with Ethan and Z. He depended on his parents as much as they depended on him.
Lonnie is survived by both of his parents, Deborah and Donald Brown (aka Charlie Brown/ Elvis) with whom he still lived in Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and his three older sisters, Betty, Melanie and Donna.
Although his life was cut short (at the young age of 39) his family honored his wishes and donated his viable organs. To honor his donation, Valley Health Winchester Medical Center will bear a small plaque denoting his name on the Tree of Life.
