Robert Leon Farris
1957-2024
Robert Leon “Bob” Farris, 67, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. died on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at his residence while under the care of Hospice of The Panhandle.
Born on January 21, 1957 in Morgan County, W.Va., he was the son of the late Leroy and Betty Stotler Farris.
Robert was a member of Independent Bible Church.
He was retired from General Motors.
Bob enjoyed playing softball, golf and bowling. He also loved to fish and hunt, but most of all he enjoyed telling others about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Robert is survived by his wife, Tammy Ann (Walls) Farris, one son, Travis Farris (Samantha), Williamsport, Ohio, three sisters, Darlene Stotler, Judy Clingerman and D.J. Stanley, all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., three brothers, Les Farris and Pat Farris, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., Danny Farris, Great Cacapon, W.Va., one granddaughter, Zoe Farris and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry Farris and Mike Farris.
Graveside services were held at Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Great Cacapon, W.Va. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at 9:30 a.m. A memorial service was held at Independent Bible Church, 2306 Martinsburg Road, Martinsburg, W.Va. at 1 p.m. with Pastor Mark Johnson officiating.
