It was an exciting week for the Morgan County Little League Junior All-Star team this past week. Team MoCo picked up two wins in the Area 2 Championship tournament last Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, June 18, Team MoCo defeated Moorefield 13-0 to advance to the Area 2 Championship game. On Wednesday, June 19, Team MoCo defeated Hampshire 7-1 to capture the Area 2 title and advance to the District Tournament.
The District Tournament will take place on Friday, June 28 in Martinsburg at Oatesdale Park at 8 p.m. against Martinsburg’s Junior All-Star Team.
