35th annual Father’s Day car show held at Berkeley Springs State Park

by Lisa Schauer

The Mountain State Cruisers’ 35th annual Father’s Day car show drew a crowd to Berkeley Springs State Park on a warm and sunny day, Saturday, June 15.

“It just keeps getting bigger every year,” said one participant, who has been coming since the ‘90s, when there were only about 20 cars.

This year, 126 cars were registered, and over 30 trophies were awarded. Groups of people looked under the engines, and sat under the trees, as oldies music blared from speakers, the smell of barbecue from a street vendor wafting through the air.
