1943-2024

Judith Ann Kielty, age 81, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at her home while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.

Born January 4, 1943 in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Bernard Joseph and Ruth Mae Raher Heinrich.

She was a Christian. Judy was a graduate of South Fayette High School and received her nursing degree from St. Margaret’s School of Nursing. She worked as a home healthcare nurse.

Judy’s bucket list consisted of only one thing and she accomplished it by visiting Hawaii. She enjoyed traveling by going on women’s retreats, listening to country music and was a rollercoaster enthusiast.

Judy is survived by her children, Patty Richey of Winston Salem, N.C., Karyn Williams (Paul) of Berkeley Springs and Don Harshbarger (Sarah) of Pittsburgh, Pa., one brother, Jimmy Heinrich of Washington, Pa., six grandchildren, Justin (Becky), Hannah (Jordan), Trever, Emily, Haley and Nathan, and one great-grandson, Ezra.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Dave Harshbarger.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Berkeley Springs Church of the Nazarene, 58 Truman Street, Berkeley Springs, W.Va. Pastor Rodney Truax will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. A time of refreshments and fellowship will be at the Jr.O.U.A.M. Hall, 732 Harrison Avenue, Berkeley Springs, WV following the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Judy’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 or to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
